Took this shot August last year at a local WWII re-enactment. The two American GI's were more than happy to pose for for this, one and did an exelent job at it I might add. The whole thing was fabulous with a large re-enacted battle at the end but I couldn't stay for that.

This particular shot went into the local paper the following Wednesday. I was really chuffed to see it printed along with a few of my quotes. There were also two other shot's from me in there as well. Still got the copy of the paper. Anyway, enough of me rambling!

I like this shot, it's straight out of 'Battle of the Bulge'; 'The Longest Day'; 'Saving Private Ryan' or 'Band of Brothers'.

Re-enactment displays can prove a really good place to get some cracking shots, and the fact that the re-enacters love to be photographed makes it pretty easy.

I've, I hope you don't mind, given your image an old look; it was done very quicly and you will be able to get a better version.

I don't mind at all JB. I really love b&w and tried it myself, it seemed the obvious thing to do but I so much like the colour version.

Nope I didn't get any money for the shot's but it was really nice to see my shot's with my name in the paper, jade was more excited than I was.

Thanks guy's

Being brought up in the era we were, we seem to forget that these chaps saw everything in glorious colour.

A cracking shot Paul, and well done on getting it published
