A day late but none the worse for it.

Loads of interesting images this week with spring and fun in the air. I love Harrymac's shot of Isobel, this is just the sort of picture that captures childhood and will be looked back on in years to come as a 'day out' memory that really means something instead of a formal head shot from the school......but I'm going with an unusual picture for this week that caught my eye and made me think 'You know what, thats a cracking shot'.

I love the random and the caught out of the corner of the eye pictures as these often show what photography does best - make one look twice.

Jacobite managed this with his Frozen Water shot. Don't know what it is but I find this an intriguing image.

I agree with you on this choice BP..............it is the way that the trapped bubbles are grouped beneath the star-like feature that does it:

Great choice..............Congratulations Jacobite:

WOW! Sorry for the delay in getting to this one, I was a wee bit busy recently.

Thanks BP, this was unexpected as there have been lots of good images out there.

Also, thanks everyone for the comments :)

This is the original shot, without anything being done to it. After I spotted it I took the shot and kept it as I thought it might come out OK with some work.

I think if anything seeing the original makes the posted shot even better. A brilliant bit of creative editing.

Many thanks everyone. Jean just saw this; when I said 'what do you think' she sort of went "mmmmm" and frowned. That means...."nah, don't like".
Can't please everyone.....but my own wife!!!!
